No it isn’t. If you drive through the neighborhoods you will see that every other house is a foreclosure, weeds growing all over the place. We have a very large homeless community because people keep losing their jobs and then their homes. Even the civil service workers are losing their jobs. It is much more expensive to live here than most people think. All you see is the Las Vegas Strip. There is more here than that.
Las Vegas NV is not the dream town. There are more and more people becoming homeless. Losing their homes to foreclosure because there aren’t any jobs out here. And the jobs that are here pay very little. The utilities are very high here and we have increases about 3 times a year. This is a very greedy place. We are in a drought, the casinos have tighten up the machines, so you wont hear of a lot of people winning money. Las Vegas basically sucks.

@Onarugami Actually sorry, I lead you wrongly. Yes they are red hot but my friend who went out there with me used a fake drivers licence. It was a good one but some of the gambling dealers were very suspicious. I would advise against it or use it as less as you can because you will end up getting caught. My friend got to paranoid and stop using it. If you get caught they will crucify you.

rowdy916, where were you. Every city has it’s bad side and it seems that’s where you were. First of all, stay on The Strip. Secondly, get off The Strip and check out the communities. Did you check out Henderson or Green Valley or the Red Rock areas. I don’t know where you were, but you were in the wrong place. IT’S ABOUT VEGAS, BABY!!!!!

Vegas is so cool…a testament to the wonders of engineering and the imagination. Even if you dont come to Vegas to gamble your money away, there’s something for everybody here.

ARE YOU FREAKING KIDDING ME????? Las Vegas is one of the BEST cities in the world. It’s my 2nd favourite destination to go to. I’m going for the 2nd time next week, can’t wait to get back! Loved it. Don’t know which Vegas you saw but have a valid reason before you diss it. If you look for the worst things, you’ll find the worst things. LIVE MAN!!!
LV is a gross, filthy dirty city… the worst of any city that i have ever been in, everything smells like piss… trash all over the street.. little starving mexican boys hocking porn..i feel safer walking the street of mumbai then walking around vegas. its just gross…. if you have to go.. dont leave your hotel..just stay inside
